In the past weeks, I’ve been researching and posting a lot about James Baldwin. 2024 is Baldwin’s 100th birthday, which means the questions of his legacy and impact matter so much, but yet, a biopic on James Baldwin by Black capitalists is in the works and dissent has already begun. All of which begs the question — how well do we really know James Baldwin?
In this video, I plan to tap into an aspect of James Baldwin’s life that’s often unexplored by Black men. The question of James Baldwin and the Erasure of Black Women.
